About Us
The Minuteman Yacht Club is organized to promote the pleasures of boating on Long Island Sound. We are a social club dedicated to cultivating and enriching camaraderie amongst a diverse and active membership with shared interests. Our club celebrates the coastal charm of Westport and adds a bit of adventure to summer plans.
During the season, Minuteman Yacht Club holds a variety of social gatherings at the Ned Dimes Marina Clubhouse at Compo Beach.

Club Highlights
Competitive Sailing Heritage
The Minuteman Yacht Club has a rich history of engaging in competitive sailing and traditionally has been a member of YCA and the Norwalk Island Sailing Fleet (NISF). The Club hosts an annual reception in May in honor of the prestigious King Cup Race.

The Club's newsletter is called Port Side News and is published quarterly throughout the year.
