Season Highlights for 2026
As we embark on our 60th anniversary, an exciting season awaits us in 2026. The schedule is packed with memorable events including the King's Cup Reception, the Yacht Club Dinner, lively Cocktail Parties, as well as Compo Beach Gatherings.
One of the most anticipated experiences will be a two-hour sunset cruise on Long Island Sound aboard an impressive 80′ Schooner, hosted by Soundwaters Sailing. Our club's membership in the Yachting Club of America also brings the privilege of reciprocity with 700 yacht clubs nationwide.
We will distribute the 2026 membership cards at our Commissioning Day Event, marking the official start of the season.
Updates on Compo Beach Marina
While there has been some concern regarding ongoing renovations at Compo Beach Marina, the Town of Westport has assured us that both the marina and clubhouse will be open and ready for the boating season. This reassurance allows us to look forward to our gatherings and events without interruption.
Honoring Our Legacy
Several club members have compiled a history of the club, which will be shared throughout the season. As we reflect on our past, we embrace our legacy and remain committed to fostering a love for yachting, as well as an appreciation for our unique seaside location, among all our members.
